Eliana, about to become a first-time mom and navigating life as an immigrant with her husband in the USA, found herself at a crossroads. With dreams of raising her child while supporting her family, she realized the importance of both time and financial independence in shaping her future. She knew she needed the freedom to be present but also wanted to create a life that gave her and her family the quality they deserved.
Her passion for the beauty industry sparked an idea, and everything clicked during a lunch date with her childhood friend, Maria Teresa. As Eliana waited for Maria Teresa outside her workplace, she watched people coming in and out of a waxing salon. At that moment, she knew she had found her calling. Inspired by her friend’s busy schedule, Eliana invited Maria Teresa to join her in this exciting new venture.
Together, they founded what would become Green Wave, a waxing center built on excellence, high standards, and a welcoming, professional environment that clients have come to love. Though neither had formal business experience, their passion, strong values, and determination carried them forward.
